International Conference on ijma

Istanbul Muslim scholars from around the world will gather at an international conference in Turkey to discuss Ijmaa (scientific consensus) and unity among Muslims. Theme, "Ijma as a common path and the collective consciousness," the two-day symposium will open in Istanbul on April 27, 2013. The conference is co-organized by the magazine Yeni Ümit and Hira. Participants include lleader decision of the Ennahda party Tunisia, Rachid Ghannouchi, Professor Mehmet Görmez, head of religious Affairs of Turkey, and former Egyptian Mufti Ali Gomaa. the importance of ijma and its implementation by the companions of the Prophet, will be one of the topics discussion
