Rabia Khedr Uzma Khan and his younger sister received the Queen Elizabeth II medals Diamond Jubilee for their efforts in defense of people with disabilities. Blind Muslim sisters were among more than 0 in Canada receiving medals at Roy Thomson of Toronto in the third week of June. Khedr is a well known Canadian Muslim who has worked tirelessly to raise awareness about disability issues. At university, she became actively involved with the Muslim Students Association (MSA) where she played a
role within the association, but never brought to light. Her activism has increased after college. A few days after graduation, Khedr started wearing a hijab. Khedr, who is married and has four children, runs his own consulting firm and was a consultant for the Canadian Association for Community Living and Providence Health Care. The Khedr's younger sister, Uzma Khan, was also
