Taking a Stand Conference is part of a series of events across the UK to defend the importance of the voice of Muslim women in society. a first line of defense was advising Muslim women on how "extremist ideologies challenge both here and abroad, "Inspire co-director Kalsoom Bashir said. "We know that our children are connected to this virtual reality on the Internet. "They are more connected to their virtual friends than their families. It is to tell our mothers, they really need to reconnect with our children. This can be literally around the table," she added.
