Ayatollah urges Western youth to consider Islam
Tehran: Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei urged Western youth to consider Islam for themselves rather than swallowing biased views in a message posted on his Twitter account. "Recent events in France and similar in other Western countries have convinced me to speak directly to you about them," he wrote in reference to the militant attacks in January 7-9 in Paris that left 17 dead . "many attempts have been made over the past two decades, almost since the disintegration of the Soviet Union, to place this great religion in the seat of a terrifying enemy," Khamenei said Islam.
