Survey reveals Muslim children outnumber Christian children in British cities
London The number of Muslim children in several British cities is fast eclipse that of Christian children, according to statistics the birth rate that reveal significant demographic changes in the country. The Daily Mail reports that the latest statistics extracted from the 2011 census shows that of 278.623 young people in the second city of Britain, Birmingham, 97099 registered as Muslim compared with 93828 as a Christian. Meanwhile in Bradford, 52.135 children, forming 45 percent of the total, Muslims against Christians 47.144. Leicester 22.693 young Muslims compared to 18.10 Christian children. London's Tower Hamlets was the biggest difference, with 62 percent of Muslim children raised. Christians in the district are significantly fewer than the 34,597 to just 8,995. Sughra Ahmed, president of the Islamic Society of Britain, told the Daily Mail that these numbers are likely to grow.
