Automatic Wudu Washer
Kuala Lumpur: A Malaysian company introduced the Auto Wudu Washer (AWW) (patent still waiting) on the market. It claims that it is first automatic pre-prayer personal washing world system that allows an individual to perform Wudu or ablution in a standing position.
AACE Technologies has developed two versions of the AWW to meet the needs of individuals and groups in public places. The STD model 707 is specifically designed for use in mosques, prayer in common offices and rooms, while the model PRM 708 is targeted for private and family use.
Both versions of the AWW easy washing of hands, nose, mouth, face, arms and legs as prescribed in the Qur'an by first washing your hands wrists and fingers, then allowing to the individual user to collect water in the palms for rinsing the nose and mouth. This is followed by washing the face and subsequent proceedings in the execution of Masa'h.
A purpose built upper and lower washer was designed for personal convenience. The upper washer in the SDT facilitates washing and rubbing of the arms and elbows while the lower washer allows the washing and rubbing of the feet and ankles. All these ablutions can be made in the AWW comfortably without discharge or excessive waste of water as the water flow is controlled and distributed electronically activated taps sensors. It allows an individual to perform wudu with only 1.5 liters of water. It just about 0 cm x 220 cm area for installation.
