Fondation Pierre lay Palestinians for the Museum
Ramallah :. The Palestinians began in the West Bank building what organizers say will be the largest museum in the world devoted to their history
Director Jack Persekian said the multi-million dollar "of the Palestinian museum" will be an inclusive space tell the various stories of Palestinians to their land and the millions of people who live in exile. The organizers have laid the ground stone in the West Bank town of Birzeit, last month. Persekian said the first phase of $ 15 million will take about two years to build and cover 3,000 square meters or 32,000 square feet of space. The project is funded by a non-profit development group supported by prominent philanthropists called "The Welfare Association." The museum is not an official project, but the approval of the Palestinian Authority.
