Jeddah Port Prepared for the guests of God
Jeddah :. The Director General of Jeddah Islamic Port, Capt Saher Tahlawi, announced that the port is ready to welcome Hajj pilgrims coming by sea. The port is expected to receive 28,000 pilgrims this year, mostly from Egypt and Sudan. Some 37 ships to bring the guests of God on a predetermined schedule, he said. Procedures are also in place for the good start of the pilgrims. Ships carrying pilgrims will have priority and several maritime workers have been deployed to help anchor the ships. They are also responsible for guiding passengers to the ports and along the quays and sidewalks, he said
