"We have discovered America before Columbus," a documentary film, directed by Saudi director, Dr. Khalid Abualkhair, aims to present the true story of the discovery of America through a series of interviews with historians and academics and newly found evidence. Abualkhair holds a PhD in political media and teaches media and political communication at Taiba University in Madinah. In half a year, he left for a journey across continents to uncover the truth about the dating early Muslims in the American continents that counter historical documents today told to generations from European colonialism. "It was like putting the pieces in a puzzle," Abualkhair said in an exclusive interview with Saudi Gazette.
