UAE opens 40 schools in Pakistan
Swat: The UAE Project to help Pakistan completed 40 schools and world-class institutes and handed them over to local authorities in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan. This is consistent with the guidelines of the UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Nearly 21,000 boys and girls have already started classes. An inauguration ceremony was held in one of the schools for boys in the presence of Abdullah Khalifa Al Ghafli, director of the project. The project, which focuses on four main areas: education, public health, roads and bridges is part of efforts by the UAE to help Arab and Muslim countries as one of the main donors funds in the field of international humanitarian aid and development around the world
