USAID provides technical assistance to the Jordanian National Commission for Women
Amman Jordanian National Commission for Women (CNJF) and USAID signed an agreement to provide JNCW with technical support, communications and networking across the Takamol Programme USAID, Petra news agency reported. Takamol USAID aims to support the role of national JNCW as primary political institution safeguarding women's rights and gender equality in Jordan. In the presence of the Princess Basma Bint Talal and the Ambassador of the United States to Jordan, Alice Well, Secretary General Dr. Salma JNCW Nims said the agreement highlights the role of JNCW in promoting the role of women in Jordan sustainable and inclusive national development.
