Al-Azhar Sponsors Conference to educate "Brainwashed" Arab militants
Cairo Al-Azhar Institute called clerics and religious scholars from 0 countries for a conference to awareness "brainwashing" Arab youth who join extremist militant groups. The two-day conference, sponsored by Al-Azhar, attended by 0 priests and rulers of Muslim Christian churches, comes as part of ongoing attempts to Egypt to deal with the image of Islam exported radical through the growing militancy in the region. In the second and final day of the Al-Azhar conference, the organization condemned the militant groups as "sin" and that has nothing to do with Islam. "Terrorize the peaceful, killing innocents, assaulted and sanctities property are crimes against humanity that Islam condemns totally," said the final declaration. He called clerics and moderate institutions to hold training programs and learning sessions for young Arab men who were fed misinterpretation of the Holy Qur'an and Islamic law, which led to terrorism. Al-Azhar said meanings of the Caliphate and Jihad should be attached directly to young people. Al-Azhar said that Muslims and Christians lived in harmony in the Middle East for many centuries and will continue to do so, the criminalization of forced eviction actions to Christian residents in areas controlled by groups militants.
"Christians and believers of other religions to assault through false piety is disobedience correct teachings of Islam," the statement said. He also called the "thinkers and leaders of the West unbiased" to correct the image of Islam and rethink the negative positions.
