Rose Chair of Studies
Taif 
Taif University has launched a university chair for studies pink. Project costs must be financed by a businessman who donated SR 4 million for various research projects such as the development of better scientific methods for cost-effective manufacturing of the Taif variety of flower rose and the rose oil and the means to protect the rose from various plant diseases. The President will also advise farmers on breeding healthy plant and flower production. The university also plans to launch chairs for the study of native varieties of pomegranate and grapes. In the month of April, the roses of fields are small fragrant pink roses that are picked at dawn and later distilled in Taif expensive rose oil. Taif Tourism Promotion Council also approved the launch of the Chair of Studies Rose, according to executive director of Taif branch of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, Tariq Mahmoud Khan.
